Celebration of General Yakubu Dan-Yumma “Jack” Gowon GCFR
On the 19th of October, 2024, Throneroom Trust Ministry represented by the Vision Pioneer Apostle (Dr) Emmanuel Nuhu Kure joined the company of prominent Nigerians to herald the 90th Birthday ceremony of General Yakubu Gowon GCFR.
In the words of Apostle Dr Emmanuel Nuhu Kure, General Gowon is a man who became all things to everyone, his memorials are valuable testaments of what exemplary leadership should look like.
His leadership was pronounced when Nigeria desperately needed a leader who could help her curb the Civil War crisis that claimed the lives of over two million Nigerians. However, with dedication and determination, he ended the war in 1970.
Ever since then, he has been a valuable national asset that has echoed the sound of unity, transparency, equity, and justice. He has served in several portfolios and capacities, and institutions he established and constituted, like the National Youth Service, are major national heritages that have synchronized the divide that existed in Nigeria’s multifaceted ethnic divides.
He has also been a pillar and signage to the Throneroom Trust Ministry as he was among the first national leaders or heads of state to visit the Zion International Prayer Retreat Camp to pray for himself and the nation of Nigeria.
On this day, Throneroom celebrates a voice, an icon, and a leader.
