Ransom Yourself Oh Man
by ttmadmin
“The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones; And caused me to pass by them round about: and behold, there were very many of in the open valley; and , lo, they were very dry.
And he said unto me, son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O LORD GOD, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, prophesy upon these bone, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the lord. Thus saith the LORD GOD unto these bones; behold I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: And I will lay sinews upon you, and will cause breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am, the LORD.
So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone .And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. Then said he unto me, prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, thus saith the lord GOD; come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
Then he said unto me, son of man, these bones are the whole house of israel: behold, they say, our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the LORD GOD; behold, o my people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when i have opened your graves O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, and shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith THE LORD. (EZEKIEL 37:1-14)
GOD, by vision and words made it clear to me in the years 2008-2010 that we have entered what he called “Ezekiel 37 years”. He said to me, because they are the years of closing and opening cycles, and the years of opportunity for new beginnings, we must take a cue from this encounter between God, Ezekiel and the grave.
Have you wondered why GOD would take a man to a graveyard to have fellowship? How would you feel if you saw your pastor in the graveyard all alone, talking and walking around; and the next day he stands on the alter to prophesy and miracles begin to happen?
While you are thinking about the above, may I ask again; “where are the bones of your fathers who are dead? Where are the bones of the fathers of your fathers and their mothers who are dead? Why are you called the son of he that died and went to the grave and not the son of Elijah who defied death and was taken to heaven by a chariot of fire?
If Elijah’s experience was not enough, why are you not called the son of Enoch? Enoch lived in such obedience to the word of God that he walked to heaven; the earth could not contain him. Would these not have been better ancestral tree to be attached to rather than one who went to the cross, died a shameful death and had to be buried in a borrowed grave amongst sinners?
My beloved, as the lord stirred my heart with these thoughts, He said to me, “son, the grave is not only the dwelling of bones of your fathers but it carries the issue of your ancestry. It carries the record of the abominations of life. The grave carries generational issues that affect the living, although those who set the deeds are dead. It carries the issues of the past that are not only affecting the present of the living, but when unmarked, influences the future”.
The grave carries the umbilical cord of the revelation in god’s words, that the sins or deeds of the fathers follow men unto many generations The covenant and vows of the dead that influence the living are represented by the grave. The issues of inheritance and destiny are also tied to the grave. The grave is the mother of death and death marks the opening of the spiritual gate for generational transfer. It carries in it the issues of destiny.
